I have a 1973 model 1066. When backing up with my scraper blade attached, and the blace hits a hump, the shaft that is connected to the lift arm control inside the tractor, jumps over the shaft that actually raises the hydraulics for the lift arms. The only solution is to remove the 6 bolts on the cover that the turnbuckle is attached to, get inside the tractor, and re-arrange the 2 shafts in their proper arrangement.
Has anyone tried to have a different shaft machined that would prevent this from occuring? Surely these tractors are old, and I believe that many of the models built around the same time as mine are prone to this problem...
