4020 cab

I will try to get some pictures of it. Im in vincennes IN. My grampa said these cabs are the reason he bought two 4630s without cabs, but of course the soundgard cabs were alot better he just didnt know that at the time.

I have a cab for a 4020 that I took off. I want to get rid of it but are they worth anything?

9600 paint

Im almost ready to paint my 9600 and from what ive read the wheels fenders and seat are a light gray. The back rim on my tractor is painted silver but the hub is gray is this right or has it been changed. Also what blue is right I see a modern blue or a empire blue?

9600 axle seals

Thanks thats what I thought just wanted to make sure. Ill be sure to check the bearing play hopefully they are ok. The tractor only has 3500 hrs I bought it from the first owner and the tack still works.

9600 axle seals

I just got a 9600 last fall always wanted one got a good deal on it. The axle seals are leaking and I have seals ordered question is can I just take the tire off take the old seal out and new one in? Or do I have to take the whole houseing off to do it? Is the seal all Ill need parts man tried...

I took my head to the machine shop to get redone come to find out it was cracked. So i got a different head it checked out ok, but chuck the machinest said my rotators are shot and i need some new keepers. He cant find any and ive not had any luck. He also said I dont really need the rotators i...

DC wrist pin

HI guys I tore my DC apart last week cause i was geting water in the oil found it to be the O-ring in #3 cylinder. I seen the piston was kinda moving side to side in the cylinder like it was sloppy. So when I took the piston out you sould tell where it had been rubing the cylinder wall. The...

1030 outboard planetary

I looked at the serial # it was 830025 with would make it a 66 i belive. Didnt look like they planed on useing it. It didnt even have the fuel cap on.

1030 outboard planetary

I went to town this morning and took pictures of the 1030 you guys were talking about. Sorry, but don"t think it has outboard planetaries. Looks to me like those are just wheel weights. Took some pictures... what do you think?

1030 prototype w/Outboard Planetaries?

I live in vincennes just south of town. I know what tractor your talking about I think its a 1030 or could be a 930. Rex Aulton is the guy that owns it. I can see if i can take some pictures of it and post them on here, but ive never posted pictures and not sure how to do it.

how to get rust out of gas tank???

ive been told put muriatic acid and some water in the tank and shake it to kill the rust. I did it in a motorcycle tank and it worked good.

Fuel gauge only works with lights on.

I have looked at all the wiring and cleaned up the junk wires poeple have added over the years. Everyhing seems to be hooked up right. The black wire from the gauge actually goes to the starter button but the red wire from it goes to the fuel side of the switch I believe. I have taken the wire...

Fuel gauge only works with lights on.

I have cleaned all conections and it is hooked up as the manunal said. Orange wire to the tank black wire to the fuel side of the switch. I dont understand why the lights have anything to do with the gauge. forgot to say its on a 730 diesel ES. Any help would be great!
