I took my head to the machine shop to get redone come to find out it was cracked. So i got a different head it checked out ok, but chuck the machinest said my rotators are shot and i need some new keepers. He cant find any and ive not had any luck. He also said I dont really need the rotators i could use the same as the intake valuves take witch dont rotate. Chuck said the rotators were used because of the lead gas back in the day to keep the valuves clean and now i dont need them. I know i can get the keepers from saeli empliment so does anyone know where i could find the other parts or something that would cross over to work? Thanks

If you know that you can get the keepers from John, what other parts do you need. Caps of the standard style are easy and springs should not be tough to get. Personally I use Chevy springs on my engines as stock DC springs are to soft for what my heads have to do. Be specific as to what you need and I'm sure you will get help. Incidently, I believe that Case's price for DC keepers is like $18.00 each as I just pulled some last week for a shop that needed them. mEl

All I need are caps dont really matter if their rotators or standard caps just need 4 to get me going.
