Seams more oily than carbon. I have been running one heat range hotter and it helps a little but not much.- Dan Armstrong

Tractor uses very little oil over many hours of use. If I lean the carb out any the tractor looses power?- Dan Armstrong

Ford 801 eats spark plugs
1962 Ford 801 runs great for a while then fouls plugs and gets difficult to start, brand new set of plugs and it is as good as new again. Will the pertronix electronic ignition and flame thrower coil held fix this problem or should I try something else. Tractor never gets a real workout which...- Dan Armstrong
