TO 35 Tach with 12V Alternator

X4 on buying from Bill in Kansas. Great guy, I have one on my TO35. Bought a new tractormeter and cable. The alternator with the cable drive has a 3.2" pulley. On my tractor the tach ran 20% too fast so I found a 4" pulley that bolted right on. Tach now reads perfect and pulley fit without...

Front axle bushing TO35, which one??

I can only vouch for the fact that my 1955 TO35 had the straight through bushing. I actually thought about having my machinist bore out the hole and use the flanged bushing as they are much more robust but then again.........

Front axle bushing TO35, which one??

1955. The pin had wore out through the bottom of the inside third of the bushing and rested on the cast iron. The front 2/3's of the bushing was intact . The old one I took out was split and the new one was a solid walled bronze bushing. It went in pretty easy and it appears as though any...

Front axle bushing TO35, which one??

I just changed mine out on Monday night. I originally bought the 182850M1 thinking a swept back was what mine looked like. After tearing apart it was the "all the way through" bushing, 180344M1. If you need the 182850M! let me know, you can have my extra one!

A good rule of thumb to remember.

Jason, I have a new axle pin and the shoulder bushings from Argo sitting in my garage until the weather warms up. Did you run into any issues installing the pin?

    TO 35 Clutch

For what it's worth and I realize it might be too late, my 55 TO35 had the same problem, had to stop the engine to engage pto. Clutch had way too much play. Readjusted and now dual clutch engages like it should. New to this tractor but learned alto. Now works great.

    Wrong Carburetor for TO 35?

I have a 1955 TO35, which has a Carter Aluminum bottom, cast iron top. I don't have it in front of me however one of my books state there were 3 carburetors for this tractor, the carter Cast/aluminum, Carter all aluminum, and the Marvel Schebler. I ended up buying a remanufactured exact...

TO 35 Dual Stage Clutch Replacement Cost

Joe, I have a set of Transmission seals, one for the main shaft and one for the PTO shaft. If your going that far you might as well replace them. You can have them for the cost of postage.

    TO35 back in the family

John, Since joining the forum I have enjoyed your insight. Regarding the Pivot Pin and bushing, I have a total parts diagram and assume it is part numbers 183221M11 for the bushing and 180344M12 for the pivot pin. They are inexpensive at around $45.00 for the set and don't seem too hard to...

    TO35 back in the family

After waiting a few years I finally was able to secure my grandfathers 1955 TO35, which I had driven many times as a teenager. I just picked her up from a small town mechanic who replaced all the engine/transmission seals, oil soaked clutch plate/throwout bearing, rebuilt the oil pump, and a...

    A-BO-22 Disc

Leroy, Thank you, that's exactly the information I was looking for. Seeing I only paid $350 for the disc and the 2 bottom plow, both in very good shape, I can afford to spend the extra for the 18" blades.
