    MF 85 3 point lift

Mine does the same thing. (1958 MF85) When I first bought it, thought the lift was broken until I started fooling around with the remote controls. I just got used to using the remote controls to raise the hitch. Next time out there, I will give this a shot.

    unusual loader

I have noticed that it has been on CL for over a year now. Think its in Suffield CT or near there. I was tempted to look at it before I got ill, but never got the chance.

    F40 in Central Mass

I would love to look at but haven't been doing much for the last year or so. I think it is worth a look. CL Worc F40

    35 vs 65

I was thinking gas, nothing against diesel. I have a 3cyl Perkins in my MF40 Industrial (backhoe/loader)

    35 vs 65

I am not in a rush. Thinking about placing a 'wanted" add on CL for a machine later this summer. I would even trade the pair of Fords for the right MF. I want to get something just out of service rather than off a fence line. I just bought the 85, so my play-funds are low. Not to say, if...

    35 vs 65

Tony, I seen that one on CT a couple weeks back. Said it had mint sheetmetal and diff lock. I haven't looked at it yet. Orchard Hill has one but it's a high arch rowcrop model. I like the styling of the 65. I may sell my '56 TO35 if I get a live power MF35. The TO30 may go also...

    35 vs 65

2tractors, That is what I meant, I want live power. I want it all... I aleady have a TO35 Standard that has a single stage clutch and no power steering.

    35 vs 65

I will be in the market for a new addition to my collection soon. I have decided to sell my Ford 1947 2N and early-1950 8N to free up funds and space. I have been looking for a 35 deluxe off and on now for about a year. I just got the 85, which is a nice looking tractor with live power and...

    Big MF 40 industrial plans

Mine is a 1975 MF40. with a MF34 FEL and a IH backhoe that was either 3PTH nounted or maybe for a large skidsteer?? Its is to small for the machine, but good for digging ditches for pipe. The tractor has NO BRAKES at all left. Good machine for hardpacked surfaces, as it gets stuck on my muddy...

    not a bronze belly?

Maybe we can do a group buy on seat cushions. I have a set on my 35, but missing on the 85. I was hoping to find a set at a show this summer.

Was it 6 volt or 12 volt from the manufactor ?

I have an early 1956 (org gray/green) and it has a 12V gen. I am the 3rd owner (bought from guy who only owned it a short time, who bought from church who bought it new). So, I believe it is original. Can they rewind a 6V gen to 12V?? I think 12V is the way to go.....getting harder to find...

    not a bronze belly?

That 40 was on a trailer and headed for the scrap yard when George rescued it.... I am surprised everything wasn't rusted solid on it. Looking at the pictures, it has come along way.

    good news... better news?

Yes, took a ride out that way Sunday morning. Turned out to be a 1961 Special. A lady was selling it, belonged to her husban which was no longer around. She didn"t know anything about it, except what was printed on the cover of the owners manual. That is why she listed it as a Deluxe. So...

    good news... better news?

I really don't like the gearing of the 8N. I The only thing the 8N has over my TO30 is position control on the 3PTH. Other than that, I like the TO30 better......and my TO35 (standard) with Hi-Lo range is even better than the TO30. I do wish the 35 had live power and PS. I plan to remove...
