    4020 steering motor

    Thanks for your help. I finally got around to replacing the seals in the steering motor on my 4020. That fixed the problem and it now turns to the right good. Here is a picture of it jacked up with front end and rail removed.

    PTO bleeds down

    My 8n PTO bleeds down so fast that I can only raise it long enough to change from mower to harrow. I see fluid on ground near left back wheel . When I add transmission fluid it works well just for about 10 min...then it bleeds slowly down unless I have the "raise" lever pulled all the way...

    Leyland 384 70 hp

    I found one for sale for $4700. It has a loader and wide bucket. Hyd looks good and no leaks apparently. Can anyone tell me if the price is reasonable?

    Sold the 400.

    Front tire upgrade

    I have a massey 383 with 7.50-16 front tires. I want to upgrade to 10.00-16. Will the factory 16' rim handle the 10.00 or will I need wider rims?

    One of these these is not like the others

    Cutting grass and got a power drop and funny exhaust sound. Pulled spark plugs and #4 had no pressure. Naturally, I had just filled the gas tank so I had to drain it to get to the valve cover. Then I saw this! Can't find anybody that lists the part except Tisco so I will drop by Larry's...

    JD 6410 blows smoke

    I have 6410L that blows a light gray smoke when running mid throttle. It smells like it isn't completely burning the fuel. The tractor has plenty of power. Already changed fuel and air filter and adjusted the valves. It doesn't use any oil. Does anybody have any ideas? I am not sure what to try...

    GVI vs G 705

    I currently have a GVI. I have pulled it several times since doing some repairs with good success. Would a G705 be a better tractor? Other than HP, what are the advantages of the G705? Is it a lot heavier?
