    Case IH 4210 power steering cylinder removal

    Trying to remove steering cylinder to replace seals. Left side tie-rod (left hand threads) won't come loose. advise appreciated Also, how so you remove the entire cylinder assembly? It seems to be frozen in the support bracket. Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for your reply. The tractor has a 2255 loader. 4 wheel drive. Manual shuttle shift, not hydraulic. No cab. Loader, steering, 3 point, remotes, don't work. Tractor won't move forward or reverse. Thanks.

    Worked fine on wheel rake before lunch. Hydraulics got slower and finally quit. Changed filter. Plenty of oil. Now nothing hydraulic works and it acts like the Mechanical clutch isn't working. Can shift gears and ranges without depressing the clutch and no gear noise or movement. help

    THANKS SO MUCH!!! PTL it was the air supply. I really feel stupid. I had blown the filter out a couple of times and didn't get much. Didn't think about running it without the air line attached. Daryl

    Have a IH 424 gas that is giving me fits. will run ok for a couple of minutes, and then start acting like it's over fueling. Smokes and chokes down. Changed plugs, points, condenser, coil. Still not getting the best spark, but after a few minutes it will start again and repeat the whole process...

    1086 transmission cover

    My 1086 lost all forward gears the other day, still have reverse and park. Removed seat and transmission cover. Snap ring of forward-reverse shifting rail gone and rail had moved. Trying to reinstall, but not sure how to keep pressure on spring loaded rollers. No longer a dealer in our area, but...
