    The hydro static transmission seal went and is dumping hydraulic in the final drive case.It dont look to bad to get the transmission out. But has any one rebuilt one of these ???

    Yes it was positive ground. Got it running, but had to jump across the Solenoid, so either got probs with the key switch or the Solenoid. But at least I can get it close to the garage now. Thanks

    Thanks Ill give it a shot. I know you can jump start the 6v starter from a 12v truck, without problems, but how would the positive ground issue affect the starting I don't want to burn out something. If I cant get the battery to work I want to at least see if I can get it started and moved...

    Went to look at a ford 4130 tractor / back hoe. It is a 6 v system but the battery was not hooked up. Is there any way to tell if this would be a positive ground tractor or negative ? Or just hook up the battery with negative ground and see what happens?? Thanks..

    Checked out the distributor and that block is cracked , but there is a zip tab around it holding it together, Must have been like that for years, cause I didnt put it on. Can that block be replaced, with out replacing the whole distributor ?. I also noticed a bit of play in the distributor...

    Thats what I thought about the water, but I have noticed, like bubbles, forming around the screen. When I take the bowl off tho, the gas looks perfect in it.     Thanks, I have checked the air cleaner, used a flash lite and rod to make sure nothing built something in the tubes, even tried with the hose off at the carb when it was runing bad with no help. And the spark looks good. The sediment bowl stays rite full .
