    Massey 444 Engine Rebuild

    Does anyone know if the standard sleeves and pistons can be installed in a block that has the oversize 4" piston and sleeves? Is the block bored out to install the bigger sleeves or are they just a thinner wall?

    We just purchased at auction what we thought was a W4. When I was taking photos for our files I noticed the serial number is Model S W 4 Serial number 1520. I am thinking we have a Super W4 but would like to verify. What changes were made to the Super to make it stand out?

    I have this 53 U and am installing a new exhaust manifold and heat riser. Question is, which way does the heat riser bolt into the manifold? Is it meant to be turned to direct the exhaust onto the intake? Is it adjusted depending on conditions? I know nothing and cant find any information on...

    Case D Exhaust Valves

    Just took apart one of our latest auction buys.Case D SN 5420380. I need to find a couple exhaust valves for it. Does anyone know of a supplier that might stock them. I tried getting my local Case dealer to do a part search through his dealer network but I am not getting any cooperation from him.

    It has a water pump so I guess that makes it a 22-36. I don't get the TG reference in front of the engine SN. Mine doesn't have a TG in front. Any ideas on the year?

    Model B carburator

    I am looking for a rebuildable carburator for a 1947 Model B, SN210091. My parts book says it is a Marvel-Schebler DLTX67 or DLTX73. Does anyone know if the same model was used on other makes? Am thinking I may be able to source one that way. The price of a rebuilt is out of my range right now...

    Massey 97

    I looked under the RH battery box and there is no sign of a SN plate ever being installed. Any other places Massey might have stuck a number? I will try the Minney website, see if I can get a build date from the engine SN.

    Does anybody know of a serial number location other than under the battery box? There is a Massey plate beside the fuel filters but the SN 16401175 is way too low for any listings I can find.
