A4t-1600 guru needed

I bought an a4t-1600 and found the hi/lo linkage unhooked and the lever that it normally hooks too is wired back...any ideas why? Thanks for any help..

Does anybody know where to get the right/left steering arms for an oliver 2255? I can't seem to find the outside ones. Do certain white models fit? Thanks Dave
