    How do you get the cage out. I cracked the housing around one bolt hole when I tried to pull it.

    I need to replace the bull pinion and brake shaft seals on my 1947 M. What is the procedure for removing the cage so I can remove the seal. I have attempted to pull the cage with bolts in the two threaded holes but it will only move 1/2 inch and will not go any further. Thanks, Dave

    I am trying to remove the transmission countershaft nut on a 1947M so I can replace the seal. This nut also serves as the drive for the hydraulic pump. I would like to know if the threads are CW or CCW, I have gently tried both directions with no results. Thanks, Dave
