Sickle Rivet Length
The blacksmith rule of thumb is ......1 1/2 rivet diameter protrusion for a head. Example.....1/4" rivet = 3/8" protrusion to form a proper head.- Dave51B

I found them.....all 3 pieces. My 290 book does not show them that I can find. So these had to come off a 490 that I parted out I guess. Let me know what to do now. Dave- Dave51B

I am 95% sure I have those parts, just had shoulder surgery this morning, so will be a few days before I can dig them out. Like you said, they should not be hard to fabricate. But, IIRC, there is also a bracket that is bolted on the frame also. I will keep watching this thread to see if you come...- Dave51B

Sorry it took me so long to get it posted. I put a Behlin Road Gear in this tractor for tractor drives. And I must admit, it's a blast. Not as fast as my 36 A with a Behlin (those red H's and M's can't keep up) but I do like the gearing spread better on the 38. Good Luck Dave- Dave51B
