    ford 8n

Most of the comments I've read on the N-forum tell you to loosen the nut a few threads and run the tractor around in quick figure 8 turns to loosen them up. Never tried it, but sounds like it will work. May take some time.

    PTO problem on 48 Cub

Does your Cub have the metal retainer around the pto lever? Once the lever is pushed down and moved to the other position to engage the pto, the lever should spring back into the other hole location on the retainer. The retainer should keep the lever from jumping out of gear.

    c113 cracked block

I need a block for a 100 I have sitting waiting on restoration. Where is it welded? I'm not sure it would work, can you put c123 sleeves in these blocks? just a thought. I am in Brookville, not too far away.

    Farmall 100 mower pulley

I am in Brookville. I found this 100 down in Southeastern Pa. a few years ago. Just got around to restoring it this past winter. Looking forward to putting it to work mowing. These tractors with the C123 engine really work well with a 5ft belly mower. Much better than the old Cubs I'm used to.

    Farmall 100 mower pulley

I should have specified I need the pulley for the right angle gearbox. The Woods belly mowers need the pulley at a right angle to run the belt.

    Farmall 100 mower pulley

I am putting a L-59 Woods belly mower on my 100 and need a PTO pulley. I am having trouble finding the pulley with the 1-1/8" splined hub. I got the pulley from and industrial supply house, but they back-ordered the splined bushing. Anyone know of another source or have one to sell? The...

    C123 Crankshaft Pulley Puller

Oil pressure update: I finally got around to removing the front cover off my 100 and found a open hole behind the camshaft gear. Put a plug in and will button it back up after I get some gaskets.

    C123 Crankshaft Pulley Puller

The crankshaft was on size and the bearings were marked std., but I didn't plastigage them. I'll check the clearance when I tear it down. Thanks.

    C123 Crankshaft Pulley Puller

Thanks for the tip. That may save me a bunch of time. I'll take a look.

    C123 Crankshaft Pulley Puller

I did not rebuild the oil pump, but it had better oil pressure before the rebuild. The machine shop hot tanked the block about 6 months ago and no one remembers, but I had to put the plug in the rear of the motor. I didn't remember seeing one in the front of the motor, but I read in the...

    C123 Crankshaft Pulley Puller

I need to purchase a puller to remove the crankshaft pulley on my Farmall 100. Did a complete rebuild and only have about 10 psi on the oil pressure gage. I am pretty sure that the front oil galley plug was not installed by the machine shop. I have seen pullers in the manual that hold the...
