    Hey Grandpa….

I am a grandpa but not the one your looking for. I can tell you though that those tanks are hard to clean. There is a baffle at the rear and it is hard to clean behind it. I fill them with water, maybe one quarter full then slosh the water around. Maybe add some ball bearings to act as an...

    Farmall C Carburetor

Did you check the parts section of this site? They show several kits as well as new and rebuilt carbs. Dave

Super C with a Woods L306 Mower PTO Pulley Diameter

In my experience those are always missing, yikes! One could be made fairly easily by a welding shop. It's just a sheet metal cover that wraps around two, I think, pulleys. Dave

    IH cub magneto

Are you testing with the spark plug in the engine or out of the engine? If in the engine is it getting fouled with oil? If out of the engine could be a bad wire or one of the parts you replaced is bad. Dave

6v pos ground amp guage does'nt move when switch is turned on.

The post on the starter may be worn down after years of use. Take the starter to a good shop and have them put a new post on it. I did this on my C years ago and it made a big difference. Dave

    Another JD1010 starting problem

What is the voltage in to the coil while cranking? What gap are the points set at? Do you get an even cranking sound like all cylinders have equal compression? I'm betting on a stuck valves. Dave

    Farmall BN problem today

I read that wrong too. He used the starter to move the tractor not the hand rank. Dave

8 Volt Battery in My 8N

Why an 8V battery? If it turns over slowly just fix your problem. Maybe new cables or an extra ground cable and you'll probably be good to go. Dave

    Milwaukee cordless grease gun.

Ok fawteen, I looked it over more closely now and I see the nozzle is two pieces. I loosened the two halfs and now it works ok. Those two halfs are loose, like not even finger tight. Can I use it that way? I did take it completely apart and their is a small spring in there. I never knew that or...

    Milwaukee cordless grease gun.

You can't see the picture very well but the hose is completely off and the nozzle still won't budge. Dave

    Milwaukee cordless grease gun.

Well fawteen, is this loose enough? The nozzle still won't come off. Dave

    Farmall super A starting problem

Check that there is a bumper spring inside the tube at the bottom where the acorn nut is. Usually those are broken and you don't notice it. Also be sure the spring loaded tip of the governor moves in and out freely. Dave
