    The wheels are 2 piece so the run flat insert can be used. Some of the hummers had cast magnesium run flats and some have big solid rubber ones.

    Im the last Hamilton male from my line, grew up near Rockford IL. In TX now. Grampa was from Upper Mich, his father came down from Canada. Have maybe a few near Detroit from great uncle.

    Strange Event Folowup

    Guy at work just had his garage half burned and smoked the whole house up because of a ridgid battery/ charger going up in flames. I dont leave a charger unattended while its charging. Unplug and remove bats when done also.

    MF 230 Power steering pump rebuild

    Does it have the short fat pump or the longer one? There are videos on youtube. I havent done a massey but I put all new seals in a Ford 4000 tractor PS pump and it was easy. The old seals between the plates where the pumping gears are were bypassing internally.

    Do these tractors you guys are discussing only have one pump for 3 point lift or aux? Doesnt my MF283 have a separate lift pump and and aux Pump? So I can use aux for front loader and still use 3 pt I suppose I would still need one of those special valves if I wanted to use a hyd tree...

    OK the Hole that lines up with the center of the crank is above the front axle pivot. The pump drive shaft will go just over the top of the axle center. Looks like my crank pulley has 4 threaded holes,, have to clean them out and try some bolts - looks like 3/8 fine. The upside down pic is of...
