if you replace the bearings you are going to start it and get all exited for a 2-3 min. then it is going to start all over again. you are going to be better off just rebuildig because if you grind the crank and put new bearings and then a year down the road you decide to rebuild it you are going...- dbrew277

if you have the oil pan off just try to push the rods if they move up or down you know which one it is if not go to autozone and get some plasti gauge and check gap in between the crank and the bearing. i know this isnt what you want to hear but if you have spun a bearing you need to take it to...- dbrew277

to 20 oil preasure
i just bought a 51 TO20 the oil preasue is about 30-40 psi when i start but it drops to about 20 when it is warmed up it stays steady but stays at 20 could this be a bad pump i know the oil is going to thin out when it gets hot but i feal like this is too mutch. what all is involved with the...- dbrew277
