ACG, Good idea. I've been using long needle nose plyers. I'll try the screwdriver idea. Thanks. I sure appreciate it!

    611B Battery Tray

Ok, I give, how do you get the battery tray out. I see no screws looking down on top of the tray. I did find a spring at Fastenal. Trying to fish that spring up to hook that cotter pin has ate up a lot of time so far. Very tight in that area as you all know. Thanks for any advice, Deano

    611B Clutch Pedal Spring Question

Was plowing snow today (Michigan) and the clutch pedal spring broke. Thanks to a bungee cord I managed to finish. Anyway, where can I get one? Also, I see where the spring attaches to the clutch pedal, but where does the other end of the spring attach? A photo would be helpful. Thank You Deano

    Pedal tractor info

I have one exactly like yours. Ertl made them. There will be a number on it. Probably a D 63 or D 65. I also have the original trailer that came with it. Been in the family since the 70’s and our Grand boy drives the wheels off it! Deano…. Untitled URL Link

    Flood light question

This has been a very good unit so far. Had it 2 years now. Menards has them. It has a duel bright setting. You can also have it flash twice when it senses motion. Heath Zenith model 5718. Untitled URL Link

PJH, Elzie Segar was quite the writer indeed. I have a book called “A History of Chester 1829-1979”. A lot of history in Chester. You may have eaten at Reid’s Harvest House. Bob Reid was my cousin. He just passed away last October. My Dad’s family were born in Vienna and then moved to Chester...

PJH, I have a few Aunts’, Uncles and cousins that live in Chester. My Dad was raised in Chester. I try and get there to see everyone once a year. The scenery in and around Chester is just beautiful. The people also are very friendly. I am in SW Mich. Deano……

lfure Yes it does have Case-O-Matic Drive. Very handy. It’s easy to use. Mostly I turn the blade around and push the snow. Last year one of the valve stems rusted thru on the right rear rim so I had it repaired. That tire is not loaded but the other one is still loaded. It does a nice job. If...

    Case 600B

Just got done plowing snow and took this photo. This was my Dad's tractor and we've had it since 1974. Still runs great. I've always wanted to restore it but every scratch and dent tells a story. I'm in SW Michigan. Thanks! DEANO.......

    1958 Case 611 oil problem

Thanks for the information. I do see the lines going into the bottom of the radiator. Would this be something advisable…..I only use this tractor to plow snow and maybe 2 hours a week pulling logs out of the woods for firewood. What if the cooler was bypassed and I just made it a closed loop...
