611B Battery Tray

Ok, I give, how do you get the battery tray out. I see no screws looking down on top of the tray. I did find a spring at Fastenal. Trying to fish that spring up to hook that cotter pin has ate up a lot of time so far. Very tight in that area as you all know. Thanks for any advice,

If you go on the link and zoom in to the tray you can see in both the parts drawing and parts list it has qty 4 5/16" "flat" flat head screws listed they get cover by rust and debris

Well; personally, I would find a long el-cheapo screw driver and grind a V notch in the end of it, perhaps bend the shank a bit if needed and hook it to the end of the spring that goes into the cotter key and push it up to the cotter and twist and turn cotter key to hook it in. Might take two people.
