    Take the gang(s) apart and put the new blades on the inside,put the worn ones outside.You say the old inner blades are 18"? perfect.Do each side the same to keep it all 'balanced'.

    I leave em long. The extra overcut cuts off roots better. Doesnt leave streaks,does a better job in alfalfa/sod.

    The MCV controls the PS;brakes;TA and transmission lube. I'll bet the TA doesnt work either when it sits like that.
