Ultra sonic cleaners

I here a lot about ultra sonic cleaners. Can they take off mild rust from carburators? Thanks. Steve.

The cleaner helps, but it depends on what chemical you have the part in. I try to put parts in zip-lock freezer bag with solution and just plain water in the cleaner. I have had good results with lemon juice or white vinegar with corroded carbs.

We use one, from harbor freight. Hot water and purple power does pretty good. Takes several cycles.
