    Farmall M with duals

In the late 60's we used an M with Duals(cast wheels dished in/ dished out which allowed the tractor to ride the top of the ridge when we go-digged row crop corn. Great traction. The rear tires we not the same size, the inside were somewhat smaller. The go-dig was two point and was a Haberlin...

    Behlen Power Steering Pump

I have an M with a Behlen PS pump which sits bolted to the live hydraulic pump off the distributor. It appears that the PS pump has bad seals. Where could I look for a kit for this pump? The other option would be to utilize some other pump( automotive PS type off the crankshaft)but what vintage?

    M carb float issues

I recently put a kit in my M carburetor(IHC). I soldered a tiny hole closed on the float and set it to the specs according to the measuring device in the kit.Initially it ran pretty decent but recently would not start. The float hangs up because the bowl fills with gas and runs into the tube of...

    Wheel paint color

I have used Rustoleum Aluminum and Rustoleum Navy Gray and had a pretty decent combination and it seems to wear well(about 20 years)and still looks good. I have also used the IH Silver Argent which has more gloss that the Rustoleum combination. The jury is still out on durability of Silver Argent.

sickle mower IHC drawbar style mounted in place of drawbar

My son has an H with a drawbar mounted sickle mover. The one way cylinder on the left side ahead of the axle housing that raises the mower has blown its seals. Are there any parts available for those cylinders? Are there any cylinders around?

    mounting F11 on M

I am mounting a F11 on an M. I noticed that the nose of the tractor is off to the left side of the loader. Upon looking at the angle braces which bolt to the frame channel I noticed the left side angle is an inch shorter than the right side. To center up the loader on the frame I need to...

M six bolt hubs and bearing caps

I recently purchased some 6 bolt hubs from Walts tractor.com. for my M wide front. I think I can use the bearing caps from the cast hubs presently on the wide front end. I got a part number from an IH parts manual for gaskets that supposedly fit the M bearing caps and the 6 bolts and purchased...

Air in power steering system of 856

My nephew replaced some hoses on a dozer blade and apparently got some air in the hydraulic system that made its way to the power steering cylinder. The wheels do not move either way. How can I go about getting the air out of that system?
