    C oil rings

    We got our C started. runs fine, good oil pressure. Blowing a lot of smoke. The ring set we bought has cast iron one piece oil rings, not the usual 3 piece type. Will they seat and stop burning oil? The smoke does seem to have decreased a bit after a few minutes of running.

    mh 22 3point ?

    MH 22's were built from 1948 - 1953 Hydraulics were standard equipment. The 3 point hitch was an option. The rear pto was just a standard, not a live pto. HTH dick

    Date of 15-30

    Larry, My data books don't show that low of a serial # for the 15-30 The chassic and engine prefix was TG and the serial #'s started at 99926 in 1929 and ended at 157447 in 1934. Dick

    NEED HELP! M-H 22

    Sam, You should really get a manual for your tractor ( on this site or elsewhere ). On the MH 22 the transmission and differential housing are divided by a wall in the case. The tranny case contains 2 gallons of SAE 140 and the level plug is on the left side under the platform behind the clutch...
