    4166 International

I?ve got a new to me 4166. 4800 hours and runs great. Straight as an arrow and all systems seem To work. Not many around my parts so I don?t know a lot about them. I have a couple questions I was hoping to get some answers to if I could. First, the steering works great when moving. Steers easily...

    2t tires

Looking at trying my luck in the division 2 T classes this winter in the 5000-6500lb classes. I have a set of 15.5x38 firestones, and one 16.9x34 Firestone. Wondering what you guys thought was the better option, and if trying to find the 16.9x34 a mate was worth the trouble. Any advice appreciated!

Super M makes its own oil...

Guys, recently acquired a neighbors super m. It has the live hydraulic option on it with power steering which uses the tractors live hydraulic system. The hydraulic oil was low and the steering not working so I filled the resivor. Worked great for about 10 minutes. Now the crankcase is way...

    The 74 Series Appreciation thread!

Had a 574 gas for years. Great tractor. Dad traded it off a few years ago. Wish I still had that one but didn't have the money at the time.

hitch plate and farmall h drawbar

NOT SAFE! Most clubs WILL NOT and SHOULD NOT allow you to pull off the U shaped part alone. Have to have something pulling off where the swinging drawbar attaches, (unless you have a fast hitch.) if those bolts on the axle break you'll flip over so fast you won't know what happened.

    What is this?

    losing power before traction

I have an H that dynos 60 hp. Uncut 12.4s. Depending on the track it will power out in the 4500lb class long before I break a tire loose even in first gear. It all depends on hitch height, speed, and weight.

Thanks guys. Sometimes you gotta take a bit of time to remember where you came from. Keeps a guy humble.

    295 planter update with pics

Thanks. With a little modification it can be done. I put it on 36" rows because on 30"s the units would bolt on right where the fast hitch prongs do. And it's easier to walk down 36" rows than 30". This originally was a 6 row 30" planter with a double toolbar but someone bought the other 2 units...
