    Case 930 clutch

    Pull it out and take it to a clutch rebuilt shop. probably 20 times cheaper!!! Years ago I priced a rebuilt clutch and pressure plate from CIH $1200 got rebuilt clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing from South Bend for under $200.

    Bachert's have a very nice pair of DC's in northern Indiana close to Knox. They were at the Power of the Past in Winamac this last summer.

    front hub removal

    You will need to shine up the spindle because the retainer must go on 1st, then the inter bearing then the hub and outer bearing and nut. The retainer will then be fastened to the hub by the 5 1/4 screws or bolts.

    Harvest pics

    Really? We have a 2208 on a 2388 and really like it. We also have a 963 on a 1660 and I like the 2208 much better especially the hyd deck plates. This is the 3rd season for us and have not had any problems.

    We had a bird's nest in the intake on the 2290 last year made a lot of smoke and no power.

    The 1030 is 1.5 in longer.
