    brush hog help.

    How do I remove the stumpjumper from the shaft. I've removed the cotter pin and nut. Now what? Seals leak, won't hold gear oil and base needs welded up. Not sure of the model. pretty rusted. please follow link to images of brushhog. I can't figure out how to imbed them into the message...

    #4 manifold stud leak anti-freeze

    Thanks for the input Searched archives and seems everyone uses something different. from Permatex copper sealent to Teflon tape, to pipe dope. I think my problem is I didn't let it set long enough. I'll try the red high temp sealent.

    After market, I'll heat and bend the tube to line it up properly. what a pain. or rework the old one.

    Ordered a replacement oil pickup tube from Stephens $50 and it's crap. holes don't line up, had to drill bigger. doesn't line up with oil drain plug. rubs on old oil plug without the screen. no hope of putting a plug with a screen in there. Any thoughts. old oil pickup been repaired...

    oil plug cup

    changing oil, oil plug was missing filter screen. reached up inside oil pan to see if it was there and the cup and oil tube fell down. floating in oil pan. How to I fix this? do I need to pull the oil pan? thank you.
