oil plug cup

changing oil,

oil plug was missing filter screen.

reached up inside oil pan to see if it was there and the cup and oil tube fell down. floating in oil pan.

How to I fix this?

do I need to pull the oil pan?

Unfortunately you are going to have to remove the pan and resolder the tube back onto the oil pump. I have never done it. Probably someone with more experience will have some advise. Don't run tractor the way it is; you won't have any oil pressure.

Consider yourself very, very lucky. Had it fell off w/ the engine running & you weren't paying attention to the oil pressure gauge, you'd be replacing the bearings & who knows what else.

Yes, you need to drop the pan & silver solder in back.
