4 cyl ford 2000 12 volt conversion problem
Do away with the resister and put a IC14SB 12 volt coil on it ,it needs no resister -

I have a 2440 that the rocker shaft and push rods are dry getting no oil. I know little of this reactors history. Good oil pressure at the sending unit. Thanks for any help- dmbinva

I have a 640 that is giving me a fit. I have rebuilt the pump. You can bleed the pump and the loft will work. let the lift back down and you have to bleed the pump again. David -

Check the pushrods the 3 cyl is prone to have bent push rods and broken rockers -

Ford 4400 Distributor Issues
Check the Distributor cap for cracks; It would have come from the factory with resistance made in the wires. If you have replaced the wire you will have lost that. It also needs the wire from the solenoid to the coil. that puts 12 volts at cranking. If you have replaced the coil with an... -

Thread locking compound on axle retaining bolts?
Sparix has new nuts with locking plastic for around 20 bucks each They will stay tight I will not replace the bearing without using a new nut. But I am working on customers tractors. -

851 Powermaster
The cap will only go on one way. There is a cutout in the dust cover for the cap to fit. the dust cover has an arrow that lines with the oil tube of the distributor. Someone hay have the distributor in other than the way it came from the factory -

Throttle problem
the throttle plate needs to be tightened up or maybe needs a new washer [ located under the battery box] greaseing it may have made it worst
