hyd leak on 2440 JD tractor
The smaller steel pipe on bottom side of hydraulic pump in front bottom of 2440 is leaking a little. Its darn tough to get a 7/8 wrench in there to try and tighten. Do I have to remove the bigger tube above it first or is there a better way?? I ordered a rachet tube wrench but thought I would...- donharmon

Ignition Switch 2N
You know, it is real easy to change the push button on the floor. Just has what 8 or 9 stud bolts in the plate and comes off very easy. Starter solenoid comes off with a clip and put a new one on and set to go. Saftey First???- donharmon

Ignition Switch 2N
Yes,u will have run the wire from the other starter button to the starter side of the switch and hook power to the other terminal on the key switch. That should work ?? hopefully- donharmon

8 n ford smoking
Have a 1948 8n ford tractor, did a compression check and all cylinders read 115 except no. 2 and it reads 90 but yet it smokes some when running. Starts good, runs good but not happy with the smoking? Rings, vavles?? Any good ideas??- donharmon

I know the 800 ford tractor of this era was medium gray but not fond of the color as it looks beige. Has anyone used the light gray that yesterday tractor advertises and if so, a pic or two would be much appreciated. I am in need of prettyin up my 800?? Thnks -

Melroe skid steer
Yes it was,it has a key with a shoulder on it ,the top is 1/4 and the bottom is about 3/8 ,now belt is stretched so ordered a new one. So, will see? Thnks for the replies- donharmon
