    Unstyled A slower high range gears

    Josh i i have a 38 with the "slow" reduction gears but when i changed from the "fast" or unstyled gears i only slowed down by .5 mph. so with the "slow gears and 15.5s i am running right at 3.8 mph at 1100 rpm in 3rd gear. not sure it this helps you but that is the diffrence in the gears in the...

    thanks Mike and Josh. looking into bigger bore i am already at a 9.25 so the only other way to go is with the bore. thanks for all the inputs just cant bring myself to dishing out 4400 for a block and then have to change my head i am a unstyled tractor. thanks again.

    who is the best one to go to to put a 6in plus bore in a stock john deere a block. i would like to stay away from the aftermarket blocks. but still get to that 6.25-6.50 bore range. thanks
