Has anyone shipped a tractor drawbar bare, not boxed?

    JD 4050[466or 329]which is better

414 is a gutless wonder in my 7600. wished I bought a 7700, or 7800. it's a big tractor with a small engine, no lugging, just a good thing it has a power-quad. reminds me of a gas 3020.

Do you judge a machine by the hour meter? Or the wear that a machine shows? With this newer equipment you can check the serial numbers with another dealer and get the previous owner contact number and call them directly if you are unsure of a piece of equipment.

Round and square tube wide fronts

John Deere introduced the square tube front end in 1955 with the introduction of the 70 Diesel. The increase weight of the diesel engine prompted the introduction of a heavier wide front assembly. They will show up in the parts books as an updated assembly but NOT in the original parts books.

3020s: This make sense to you?

You would be lucky to get $4000 for a "plain Jane" gas 3020. I would just keep the gas syncro around until I found a nice Diesel 3020. Gas/powershift is a gut less wonder.
