    Internation Cub Lo-Boy whining

Thanks for the replies. It does it in all gears when under a load such as going up hill. I’d say a medium whine. I took a video, let me see if I can attach it. No, it says it’s too big. That’s about the extent of my computer savvy.

    Internation Cub Lo-Boy whining

I have a 1963 Lo-Boy that's been sitting for 5 or 6 years. It wasn't running well before that. I solved that problem. The gas tank had a lot of loose scale in it and the carburetor needed to be cleaned out. It runs well now. But there is a whine to it when moving that I don't remember being...

Need readable diagram of 1963 Cub Lo-Boy Touch Control Block

Thanks urM. I searched around and found the right diagram, see pic. But it's titled for serial numbers 17XXX to 17something Cub Cadets. Mine is ser. # 16722 J and not a Cub Cadet as far as I know. It's an International Cub Lo-Boy first year they were yellow (I think). Now I'm wondering if I have...

Need readable diagram of 1963 Cub Lo-Boy Touch Control Block

I've got mine disassembled, have the new parts, gasket set and am ready to reassemble. I have the I&T shop manual but it's hard to read and my newer Cub is a little different than the manual shows. I tried to keep everything organized by the way they came out but they got mixed up a little and I...

    Can you identify these?

I my trading with a friend, I picked up an old tool box that had lots of old tractor/vehicle parts in it. It looked like it hadn’t been touched in 50 years. In it was these 2 items I’m wondering about. The first is a glass in line ???. Is it a level indicator, a filter missing the element? I...

    Case VAI hydraulic pump questions

So I did buy the tractor. And I've got some other questions. Lots of the wiring connections needs to be cleaned and some wires replaced and I'm doing that now. I should add I'm very electrically challenged. This question is about the light switch. It has 4 places and I'm going out on a limb...

    Case VAI hydraulic pump questions

Thanks for that Dingo. I don’t know why those couldn’t be rotated and stay that way on my end.

    Case VAI hydraulic pump questions

I’m not sure what it was running. I just figured it was a mid mount lift or front to back action like a Farmall Super A, H etc.

Replacing Super 55 front hub seal

I went back and looked at M7 Metal Works hub seal video again and he wasn’t using his punch down between the rubber and the seal wall. He was driving on the small shoulder against the hub wall. I tried that also but I was marking up the metal with the punch more than I wanted. His seal was going...

Replacing Super 55 front hub seal

I have watched lots of M7 Metal Works videos, very helpful, but couldn't install my seals like he did. My new seals didn't have a flat bottom between the rubber and the side walls to finish driving the seal home that last 3/16ths" with a punch. Like M7, I used the old seal with the rubber...
