    MF165 Planetary drive tools

    Thanks acadam20 for your reply. I made a tool from some 1 inch fine thread hardened all thread and some one inch thick plate. My lock ring pliers were too small, so I had to make a bigger set to get the lock ring off. I have some bearings on the way, so have not got it all back together yet...

    Oil seals on both planetaries of my MF165 need replacing. The service manual says to use MFN 764-3 and MFN 265 tools to remove planetary from the housing. Does anyone know where I can get these tools? Would prefer to buy them rather than try to make them. The manual also says to use MFN 267-Y...

    What do I need to do to use a single acting cylinder on a JD 2010 tractor? Do I need another hose to go back to reservoir? My cylinder only has one hose. Thanks for any help.
