JD 2010 distributor

Have a 1962 JD 2010 with a Wico x30091 distributor think it's bad and want to switch to electronic ignition is there a replacement distributor that would work?

I had that distributor on my 2010, it was impossible to get parts for so I switched to a Del-co, some also had Presto-lite. The JD parts web site has the numbers that will work. From their you can find the electronic ignition conversion. IMHO you would be better off with the Del-co.

What does it not do to make you think it's bad? I am looking for the advance springs for a Wico distributor.

hat's the same problem i had. No one had or could get those springs, i finally gave up and switched to the Del-co distributor.
