    1949 JD M fan assembly

Hi Mike, thanks for the number and the idea to fix this! I glued the seal to the fan assembly and the oil seems to stay inside. Now on with the rest of the restoration.. :)

    1949 JD M fan assembly

Hi all, I'm restoring a 1949 John Deere M (serial ~25000) and the fan assembly seal is leaking. I tried to take the assembly apart, but can't figure out how? Anybody got an idea how to replace the seal? Or can anybody tell me the difference with the new available fan assembly for serial no...

    John Deere M Engine question

That could be the case. The engine block with the deck plate was cracked, so we now have another block. With this ´new´ block we come to this measurement. But it seems like we do not need to use the deck plate anymore.

    John Deere M All-Fuel

A picture of the dash would be great! It's starting to look like we have a 'farmer built' JD M, since our cilinder head has the parts number of the gasoline version. Thanks so far!

Is there anybody with pictures of the extra fuel tank, the three way valve and especially the controls from...

    Wheel weight identification

Hi guys, We bought a 1949 John Deere M which we're currently restoring. On the front of the tractor a wheel weight was mounted, we think as a front weight. And does anyone know what the six small (wheels?) are? Can you tell us to what tractor it originally belongs? There is a code on it...
