1954 major hydraulics
Had a hydraulic leak on my major right under the seat. It was coming from the bolt in the photos. When I went to tighten it, the head fell right off with no force on the wrench. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement or what size bolt and threads I need? -

1954 Major Hydraulic Filter
Hey everyone, Changing the rear end fluid on my '54 Major. I am having difficulty tracking down the filter for it. My local Napa carries the fuel and oil Filter but I cannot find the hydraulic filter. Also, am I correct in using SAE 30W oil in the rear end? And it is 9 gallons? -

1939 Allis Chalmers B block
It is cracked between the cylinders. I had coolant in the cylinders but upon inspecting the gasket, it was junk. I'm now assuming the block is okay and that all the coolant came from the crappy gasket- DylanP95

Hi all, I have a 1939 Allis Chalmers B that has a cracked block. Does anybody know where I can buy a brand new block or a used block that isn't cracked?- DylanP95

Thanks guys! I'll check that stuff out. I have about 2 inches of free travel on the pedal. I'll start with the cables then work my way back to the drums and start tearing it apart and see what I can find -

Hey MajorMan, I changed the crappy battery setup, replaced connections, starter solenoid, did SAE30 oil change, and it's running like a champ. Im not sure if there is actually a diesel leak. Might have just been thinned out motor oil. But the injector pump auxiliary shaft does seem to drip some... -

Thank you! I will look into that and swap the oil out for SAE30. And check that front plate. I will probably end up torquing all the bolts just to make sure none are coming loose. I also have a question about batteries. This tractor came to me with 2 batteries ran parallel. Being that the... -

I am running 15w-40. I used to have 40 on the pressure gauge. would a bad diaphragm cause fuel to leak out around the injection pump?
