    high altitude 555???

    According to my 555 book, 1 is 1000 ft elevation while 5 is 5000 ft elevation. Now, there could be a letter A or P after the serial number which means it has an APE Pump or PSB Pump - which do you have?

    15 Rim

    Does anyone use a 15" rim on their tractor that is 5 bolt with a 5" bolt circle? I've seen a 5 bolt rim with a 4-1/2" bolt circle for a MH but thats it so far.

    MASSEY 555 DIESEL injection

    Mine did that but it was because I had miss-timed the pump head when I had it apart replacing the o-rings. Once I set it back to correct timing, no more white smoking and missing was gone.

    Battery cable gage?

    Sounds like good advice - I am going to stick with the 2 gauge. Now I am also restoring my Massey 44 gas and that has a 6 volt system. Although it won't be run when it's really cold out, should I go with 0 or 00?

    My diesel Massey uses two 12 volt batteries run in parallel. I am going to make up new cables and want to know if I should go with the 2 gage that I currently have or go with heavier 1/0 gage?

    Davenport tractor says their brake linings are slightly flexible to work with but I still need to know what size the drum is on these tractors?

    I see many places sell 1-3/4" wide x 10-1/2" long brake linings for this group of tractors: A, G, 60, 70H, 70DH, 620H, 630H, 720H, 720DH, 730H, 730DH. What size drum is on these tractors? Wondering if I could adapt these linings to fit my Massey Harris which has a 9 inch drum and uses this size...
