John Deere Brake Drum Size

I see many places sell 1-3/4" wide x 10-1/2" long brake linings for this group of tractors: A, G, 60, 70H, 70DH, 620H, 630H, 720H, 720DH, 730H, 730DH. What size drum is on these tractors? Wondering if I could adapt these linings to fit my Massey Harris which has a 9 inch drum and uses this size lining. I believe mine are 3/16" thick.

One word of caution is that most all the linings I have put on Deere"s are now made of a hard material and will not flex. so if all is not correct there is no room for error.
Now I think there are still places that can reline anything. Here in Ohio ,Dover Brake comes to mind as one place I think may ? still do this.

Davenport tractor says their brake linings are slightly flexible to work with but I still need to know what size the drum is on these tractors?

They may be slightly flexible but I have used their linings and thought of them a slightly brittle. Brittle is fine for using them on their intended application since harder shoes last longer.

I once dropped one of their linings on the concrete floor and it broke into 3 pieces if that helps you with how flexible it might be.

I think you would be better satisfied with using a local retailer that can reline your shoes.

The outside diameter of the brake drum on the model A is 9". Minus the thickness of the drum, the inside diameter would be around 8.5"
