    Not getting fuel - 39 9N

This tractor has been converted to 12 volt and has the Pertronix, electronic ignition setup. I've run this Pertronix in both my early Ford Broncos with great success, but reading on here leads me to believe it could be an issue as well. I'm buying a vented cap today and will see if that helps...

    Not getting fuel - 39 9N

So far, I've rebuilt the carb twice, cleaned the tank and replaced all filters. New spark plugs, distributer, and coil too. She runs like a champ for a while and then acts like she's getting starved for fuel. Then dies. I have to sit for a few minutes and then she'll start and make it...

    1939 9N Governor

I will add that the spring has no tension to it. Just seems to be hanging there loosely.

    1939 9N Governor

My tractor has been really lagging and lacking power. Everything I read pointed to the governor. Mine was coated in oil and would really struggle under load. Just replaced the governor today and after cranking it the first time, it's at wide open throttle. Can't seem to get it to idle lower...

    Mower Height

Does anyone sell these limiter chains? I don't have a drill bit large enough to make the holes. Thanks for the help

    Mower Height

1939 Ford 9N. Trying to get the mower height set and the hydraulics either take it all the way up or all the way down. Also, the hydraulics won't work without the PTO running. Is that right? I like this tractor, but it's driving me to drink

    Wrong top link???

It would appear I am missing quite a few pieces.

    Wrong top link???

I have sway bars, but the mower still sits either way to the left or way to the right. Never directly behind. I'm guessing this must be normal then.

    Wrong top link???

Finally got the tractor running, but having issue with getting the mower to level out or stay directly behind the tractor. I bought a Category 1 top link, as that was what was recommended. With the top link attached, the front of the mower front edge to drop lower than 6 inches off the ground...

    9N is killing me...Any suggestions?

Update...After dropping the tank and cleaning the inside filter and assembly, the thing cranked right up and helped me mow at least three acres of pasture. Still doesn't seem to want to run smoothly, so I'll do what everyone suggested and ditch the inline filter. I used it mainly to see that...

    9N is killing me...Any suggestions?

I dropped the tank and pulled the pick up assembly. A little crud there, but nothing alarming. I tore it apart and cleaned it really well. There's a port on this thing that has, what appears to be, a brass, cone inside it. It has a nut on it that appears to be a flare nut. What is this?

    9N is killing me...Any suggestions?

Well, a neighbor came over and adjusted the carb a little. He's an old fellow who has an 8N. Seemed to be doing okay at first, then again, fell on it's face. I have one of those inline filters and it doesn't seem to be getting much glass filling into it. The fuel bowl is full and the line...

    9N is killing me...Any suggestions?

It's a 39. I've thrown enough money at this darned thing. Getting tired of tinkering with it.
