I bought one for my '44 2N many years ago and it work like a charm for all my needs including mowing and bladeing. It's a simple, well made mechanical device that converts your tractor from draft control to position control. Installs in just a few minutes with simple hand tools and can be removed (or temporarily disabled) just as easily in case you need draft control for plowing. From my viewpoint it's better than chains since you can adjust the height anywhere you want it from the driver's seat with the control lever.
