    Plastic Oil Pan

    My grandson works at a local Jiffy Lube shop. He pulled the drain plug, and the threaded insert came out of the oil pan with the plug. Plastic oil pan. Nissan. I suppose many of you have seen plastic oil pans before, but it was a new one to me!

    Talk to a water well driller (or oil well driller). They will be familiar with the use of bentonite and also lost-circulation material (LCM). The least expensive LCM that I can think of is regular sawdust from a sawmill. If bentonite cannot seal the flow, mix some sawdust with the bentonite...

    Howdy, See attached picture. Ford 3000. This bearing installs in the power steering adapter, but the races have different OD"s. Which end goes down, the larger diameter or the smaller diameter??
