    Yes that is the valve I am refering to.Although it's not the safety valve it self I am having a problem with other than it may be going in to far so as to put the check ball hard up against the seat. It's getting pressure past that check ball is where my problem is. Should only take about 115psi.

    Thanks for your reply I do not have a test port on the cover plate on this tractor I don't know why. I have not tried a pressure guage in the other port at the bottom yet but that might be a good idea. Do you think that the plug in the end of the pump would be the same thing? One other note...
