    Pulsing hydraulics on MF-50 diesel

    Hydraulics were working fine in draft mode pulling spring tooth harrow, which would sometimes snag on roots. Started pulsing heavily, causing the whole tractor to shake, but would still raise and lower, even when reattached to a heavy blade. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    MF50-hydraulic overload?

    I definitely jammed the top link. I just don't know what that caused. My repair manual doesn't cover what constitutes an overload event or if there is a reset capability. Hoping to get some advice before removing the cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ed Abbott

    Using my subsoiler in first gear and hit a large root. 3 point stays up when running, only slowly goes down then engine off. no control, goes up as soon as started. Is there an overload reset or did I break something? 1964-s/n 537228 diesel deluxe

    Thank you for the help. I figured out what was wrong with my number. The serial number stamper tried to use the letter B to make a 3, but the vertical line showed up strong. I now know my correct seven digit serial number. I am going to need a bunch of parts, mostly minor stuff, Ed

    Thanks for your response. I have the number :19B0028 C in that location. I think several numbers from different locations must be combined to make up a complete engine s/n that is required for parts ordering. Maybe someone knows how that works? Thanks again! Ed
