    Got the 2294 out and let it warm up got 50 psi at full throttle in first and third power shift 40 psi in second when idled down they all fell to nothing on the gauge thinking the small gear pump is bad got 2200lbs at the remote at idle. What would be the correct lube pressure at hot idle for...

    Lube pressure in 94 series?

    I have been trying to figure out why lube pressure would be good in first and third power shift and not in second, when shifted from third to second it drops and when you go from first to second it drops! Chime in with any thoughts.

    Took a chance and ordered some c1 plates from a&i for 2294 and they are metallic made by Ratek and are from Israel.

    This is for you guys that repair the power shifts, which style of material would you like to use when repairing them? I have seen different styles of material on them some would be the glue on fiber and some would be the metallic. Which one lasts longer?

    Spoke to an engineer at century spring in MI about making the inner and outer springs just to see if the price difference would be better than CNH, I gave him the the specs as per the case repair Manuel he put it in his computer program and the report was they would fail!     Thoughts on polishing pilots spool valves!

    We rebuilt a 870 Rps 34 and polished the pilot spool valves with mothers wheel polish and a soft rag made them float in the bores really smooth, we did it all by hand no power tools at all. What are your guys thoughts on this I have heard horror stories of people grinding the spools would never...

    Yes went to the local Deere dealer just the other day because it was close ask for the rubber seals on the top of injector return line four of them cost 10.25$!

    Part # a64370 called Case Ih they wanted over 500$ for it! Key spring in Pa. Can cross ref the case part # and had seven on the shelf for 160$ a piece if anyone out there needs one. 1 800 245 3600 They can also cross ref the Belleville springs in c2and c3 78$ at case 14$ there!

    870 injection pump

    The tractor has had a flutter in the exhaust that would come and go when idling ,after I put new injectors in it it never changed anything. That's why I am thinking it in the pump going to pull it off and have it tested that will tell the story may need some more injectors! I put new filters on...

    Filters have less than a 100 hrs on them going to change them start with the cheapest thing first!

    I was using it today and started to miss and then the pump started to knock no power, at first thought is was a rod knocking . I have put rods and mains in it 300 hrs ago new injectors 2 years ago the pump has 7000 hrs on it!
