    John Deere R clutch parts

Where can I find a clutch drive disk (with the gear) for an R? I was told Steiner has them but I’m not having luck seeing that. Is it possible to find an undersized one?

Case 1070 front end bearings need replacing

How would you replace bearings in a front end on a Case 1070? Jack entire front end up to clear spindles from knee or remove the entire front end assembly? Thanks

New Holland 479 wobble box questions

What are the telling signs of a wobble box going out? Mine was warm yesterday but could that be from normal use? I don't hear any unusual noises coming from it other than the sickle. I grease it every 5 acres. I did replace the bushing in sickle as I heard it knocking.

New Holland 479 wobble box questions

Will a wobble from a 469 work in a 479? I've never seen one apart to know if or how they can be rebuilt but as a machinist I'm very curious since these items bring more money than the machine is worth. I know a fellow who had a 469 that went out on him and I'm considering asking him if I could...

Vermeer 605G twine lost in tube every cutoff

Hi, Trying to solve twine issue here & the book don't give any troubleshooting helps. How do you keep the twine from snapping back into the tube when it cuts off?

    560 hydraulic issues

I forgot to add to my original post...when the hydraulic oil gets really warm the engine labors some when the levers are actuated & after lever is in center position the engine continues to labor & takes a few moments to get hydraulic load off. Is my pump going bad?

    560 hydraulic issues

I have several hydraulic issues on my 560 Diesel. Baling hay today & the gate kept creeping open...the hydraulics weren't holding it locked so I figured I'd reverse the hoses so my lever would work opposite and they didn't? The baler gate still went the same direction after switching hoses...

    Battery removal on 1170

Thank you casecollectorsc, Are you referring to the bolt on the side of box about 6 inches from the front? Anyhow, knowing the box slides I think I should be able to figure it out. Thanks much again.

    Battery removal on 1170

I have 2 batterys that need replacing & was wondering how to remove them. No info in the I&T shop manual I have. I see 3 bolts on side that fender attaches to. Is this where I start? Thanks

    Dodge County Fair Kasson, Minnesota

I would like some feedback on previous turnouts & classes for tractor pulling at the Dodge County Fair in Kasson, Minnesota. I'm about 2-1/2 hrs away from Rochester & I would like to do some antique/improved class pulling near Rochester this summer so my sister can enjoy some time away from Mayo.

I just listed an oil filter for a Massey 44 on ebay. I think these are quite rare or discontinued from what I've read. Thanks

    Questions about TA in 560's

Thanks Farmall43. Makes sense to have the clutch looked at too if I need it split. Pedal is getting near the end unless I have some adjustment that can be made. I really like this tractor & it's certainly worth the repairs. I'm very impressed how how economical it is to run.
