560 hydraulic issues

I have several hydraulic issues on my 560 Diesel. Baling hay today & the gate kept creeping open...the hydraulics weren't holding it locked so I figured I'd reverse the hoses so my lever would work opposite and they didn't? The baler gate still went the same direction after switching hoses around. I'm so stumped on that one. Earlier this spring it wouldn't hold a 4 bottom plow at a certain position...plow would slowly sink down. Had to constantly run lever..what a pain. This was one set of couplers. Now the other set up front is acting the same. What is the problem you see here? Thanks

I forgot to add to my original post...when the hydraulic oil gets really warm the engine labors some when the levers are actuated & after lever is in center position the engine continues to labor & takes a few moments to get hydraulic load off. Is my pump going bad?

Your pump will go bad if you don't correct the laboring in neutral. Make sure your double to single positions on your valves are correct with no bent or broken roll pins that limit their movement. If that is ok, you need to go into the regulator valve assembly and there is a screwdriver headed orfice with screen. May just be plugged. May be has ball check in orfice that has peened the seat partially closed. Needs a minimum of .031 hole and ordinarily, I drill them to about .040 on used valves. You may be creeping due to the system staying on demand or partial demand. If not, it is just wear in the spool of the valve. No fix for that in valve but you could install a check valve. They are a pain for hooking up so be forwarned of that part.
