Stroke, is a mechanical clutch linkage? Has it worked or is it a new replacement?

    Stripping 3000 for transport

FWIW on the general hauling of a tractor especially with a marginal truck one thing to pay attention to. Many don't think about the loading of the tractor onto the trailer. When the weight gets far enough up the ramps it makes the trailer go to negative tongue weight and can lift the back of the...

    Radiator Pressure

Pressure is caused by a liquid getting hot and expanding in a closed container, if the container isn't closed there is no pressure. That said N's used a low pressure radiator cap so it's not going to build much pressure. The biggest problem is overfilling the radiator and the expanding coolant...

    Stripping 3000 for transport

How far away in mi? I'd say it would be worth it to pay someone to haul it safely instead of going through disassembling it and trying to load it in pieces and making 2 trips to do it.

That means it's all working correctly, are you trying to shift gears like a vehicle while moving?

Just picked up a Stihl pole saw---looking for operator tips

I borrowed one, glad I didn't buy it! Wear safety glasses, sawdust falls right in your face. Wear a hat and possibly a hard hat gravity sucks. I second the find a 19yo and tell him what to cut. There's a reason it doesn't show much use.

    Ford 860 question no start

Today is a great day to get acquainted with a voltmeter and all it can do. Plenty of Youtube videos showing what you can do with it. Is it a digital meter that measures voltage, amperage and Ohms? Turn it on to DC voltage and touch the battery posts and take a reading to start with and report...

Help Identifying a Dip Stick With An Aluminum Handle

If the original has the loop type handle like an N series I'd stick with what you have. the loop catches on things or gets bent and eventually breaks off. Plenty of them end up in the tractor for later discovery.

Ford 600 sputters under load going uphill

before filling the tank I'd check flow from the fuel outlet at the tank. Easier to drain 1/4 tank then a full tank.

Need to replace my headgasket, looking for instructions

If the tractor sits for a day or more if there was any water/antifreeze in the oil it would settle to the bottom. Pull the drain plug and drain a little and look at it.

Need to replace my headgasket, looking for instructions

Hoping for the quick easy fix Don't fill it over the fins and use the tractor and see how it does. Easy fix is don't overfill the radiator. The top part of the radiator is the expansion tank unlike cars and trucks that have a tank for the excess to expand to and then be drawn back in.

    Ford 3600 ignition switch question

Most of them get worn and you have to jiggle the lever back and forth and the switch will work, pretty common.

    Ford 3600 ignition switch question

No clue what happened or what a hub is in the electrical system, must be lost in translation. If I was betting I'd say your NS switch is the problem like most of them.
