    Bought a Ford 2000 yesterday, 1960s or 70s. It runs well. I'd like to really get a handle on its electrical system, something I've never managed to do with my 8N's.     For my 8N side-mount, 6 volt, I have three 6-volt ignition coils, testing like this: #1--primary resistance 0.9 ohms, 2ndary 7.43 thousand (old coil) #2--primary resistance 0.9 ohms, 2ndary 9.2 thousand (really old coil) #3--brand new, Chinese, from Tisco I think; primary resistance 4.8 ohms...

    How remove stuck bolts on rear wheel in place since 1950

    Hi, Trying to replace rim of rear wheel on a Ford 8N, seems to be the original rim, so these bolts probably in place since 1950s. I already broke the head off a couple trying to loosen them, so I need to try something new. PB blaster and propane torch don't seem to have helped. Any ideas?

    I have a chance to buy a Cook offset disk harrow, Model B, size 5-3 (what that size number means, I don't know). It seems quite heavy. I'm concerned that the 8N might not pull it...any thoughts? (I only need to disk my wife's perimeter track that she keeps her horses on.) Thanks!
