    I installed a new wiring harness on 1947 Model H. With engine running the ammeter shows charging. With engine not running and lights ON ammeter shows reasonable discharge. However with lights and engine both ON the ammeter pegs erratically at the discharge limit which I assume is a bad thing...

    I have a muffler and exhaust pipe for the Model H = the exhaust pipe fits loosely in the muffler with not apparent seal - is this correct? Thank you for the help.

    I received decals for our 1947 model H from Yesterday's Tractors - the main hood decal font is roughly 1/2 smaller than the orignial on our '47. Can anyone one tell me if there a source for exact size decal?
