    Uneven Idle?

    Bought a ford dexta set for along time. Got it running. Won't low idle. Idles about 800. But it surges up and down wont idle steady.If it was and old detroit diesel we wouuld call it a roll in the idle, hunts, smoothes out about 1600 with a slight miss. Any ideas? Thanks

    Oil Pressure ?

    Had the dexta running it show 42# oil pressure cold at about 1/2 throttle. Drove it around gauge went to 0# shut it down. Took line off back of gauge nothing!!! Took line and fitting out of block blew oil out! Put in dfferent gauge started up showed 22# 3/4 throttle. Checked oil about 1&1/2 qts...

    Bad idle problem?

    I have a early ford dexta. Got it running when cold and idle to half throttle it has a surge up in down it dose not idle steady it hunts? In the old Detroit diesels we called this a (roll) in the idle What is the problem how do I fix it Thanks

    Help with used parts??

    Got my dexta home today a little rough but it runs!!!! Need some used parts Tach,,,Left 1/2 of hood,,,nose emblem,,, the 3pt crank arm,,head lights,,,it has 14x9x28 on rear like to trade for 12x28. Will need more just getting started!!! Thanks!

    It depends on where your at,,, and if some one wants it! I saw one sell at a sale stuck but complete had manifolds carb starter alternator fan $65.00

    300 non TA Help!

    Where can I find the saft and bearing carrier used to replace with? My bearing cage is ruined from the bearing coming apart and splintered the shaft.All 300 I have found are ta tractors Iwas told 340+350 + 460 non ta tractors all use the same parts but no luck on them ! Thanks
